Loss

My wife's grandmother passed away early Monday morning. It looks like we are taking an unexpected road trip up to Milwaukee, WI. Our family, from AU, is flying in and they will be staying for our annual family fishing trip in a few weeks in addition to attending the services for grandma. The visitation and funeral will be this coming Thursday and Friday. After that we will spend a day or two in Milwaukee before heading back to Leavenworth, KS.

Las Vegas Ride

These are not all of the photos from this trip, nor the best ones but I have procrastinated long enough and I need to get these posted. I will get on and add text for the trip in the future...maybe. This was a wonderful trip and made me fall in love with the southwest! I saw many amazing places along the way.

Getting back in shape

I have ridden my bicycle to work everyday this week so far. It has felt good to be active despite the 100+ degree days. Hopefully I can find the motivation to keep it up next week to. It is a little challenging at times simply because it would be nice to be out on my motorcycle. I am hoping to get plenty of moto in this weekend and maybe a little off road action. So far I have lost about three pounds this week thanks to all the bicycle riding.
