The deck box is nearly complete. Using only scrap fence lumber and old 2x4s (and the hardware of course). It should weather the years well and store those random outdoor items like cushions, garden tools, hoses, etc.
Ultrarunning, bicycling, daily encounters, life, the universe, and everything else.

Parkville Brewfest and Argentina
It's been an awesome weekend. Not much got accomplished on the home repairs but we had a nice time with friends and family. Yesterday was spent at the Parkville Brewfest. $30 buys you a small 8oz (approx) glass and four hours to walk through your fill and choice of hundreds of micro brews. It was a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Today is Round 3 in the 2014 Moto GP World Championship! We will be grilling and hanging out to watch, what should be, a very exciting race. Just a few more hours until the race goes up on our Moto GP Videopass!

Recycled Pallets
So he are a few snap shots of some items I have
created recently using old pallets that were destined for the trash.
The planter is one pallet almost exactly. It is not perfect but it should prove to be a durable, rustic, yard decoration. The sides were put together using a router and mortise and tenon joints.
